So I moved everything from my 60g tank into the 120g. I got live sand, live rock from a fellow hobbiest who is taking down his system with tons of pods in it. Waited a couple days to move my corals checked params and all were in line so I moved my stuff. Now everything looks really bad!
My params are off today of course.
Here are my params, do I need to do a water change?
Calcium- 380
alk- 7.84
PH 8.0
ammonia 0.3
phosphate - in between 0 and 0.25
Nitrate-5
Nitrite- 0.1

I think you ammonia/nitrItes/nitrates/phosphates will all drop down and you pH rise as your algae expands.

A WC would not hurt but not sure if it will solve the problem. Since you have moved everything did you reuse your sand or use new? WC will help with the ammonia but would have to be a large WC to see any impact. Your LR in the system should produce the bacteria needed to consume the ammonia.
