Small meaning like 10%? This is a nano tank so 10% would be about a gallon. I didn't add anything, everything is the same it has been for weeks.Small water changes daily for a few days. Do not dose tank with any chemicals. Large water changes I do not recommend. Small ones until things get back to normal. Did you add any chemicals?
Yeah I used to do two cups water change daily on my 10 gallon. I barely got any of the green hair algae. If I did my snail would destroy it in a day. Are you dosing anything? Kalkwasser?Small meaning like 10%? This is a nano tank so 10% would be about a gallon. I didn't add anything, everything is the same it has been for weeks.
Yes, I have been dosing 1/2 strength Kalk via my ATO for a few a few weeks now.Yeah I used to do two cups water change daily on my 10 gallon. I barely got any of the green hair algae. If I did my snail would destroy it in a day. Are you dosing anything? Kalkwasser?
Yes it was 9.4 dKHDid you test alkalinity? That will kill invertebrates and fishes if it’s too high.
Weird. Is it possible something got in your tank? A piece of metal?Yes it was 9.4 dKH
PO4 - 0.90 ppm
NO3 - 12.6 ppm
Mg2 - 1060 pom
dKH - 9.4
pH - 7.6
Nitrate NO2 - 117 ppb
Ammonia NH3 - 0.14
No, I really dont put anything in the tank besides my well washed hand or the siphon. I did create a thread on the disease diagnostic forum and the sort of consensus is that the 2 new snails I added brought something in that caused a bacteria bloom and depleted O2. So it's more than likely NOT a water param issue.Weird. Is it possible something got in your tank? A piece of metal?
