I copied this from a forum and wonder if anyone agrees with these statements?
SPS: 200-600 preferred, minimum 100 for "lower" light sps like some Monti's
Clams: 400-700... but they can live in less but I find the more the better up to 700
LPS: Too much variability. Euphillia can handle just about anything, Lobos, Acans, Westies handle lower light (sub 200) with ease but a few can do more with acclimation. I would say 75-200 is a good range but it really depends.
Softies: 30-400... again, it is a wide range. I have had rics under 400w MH getting about 450 PPDF while I have seen others melt away in conditions that are less than 200. I have seen a giant mushroom live in 30 PPDF with little problem. Softies are mostly very hearty so they are very adaptable if given time.
