180 gallon acro only tank about 4.5 years old.
I keep CA around 420. Last week my CA dropped to ~380 so I decided to add a bit of extra CA supplement to my weekly water change. I obviously screwed up the measuring and my CA jumped to 590.
I'm currently making a new batch of water (40 gallons) but this will take 8-12 hours. Should I be worried? Anything else I can do besides water changes?

This, ^^^^^
Only dose alk until it comes down. Spread your alk out though the day so not to dose to much all in one shot. Wouldn't want it to precipitate out.

My calculator sais you added over 500grms dry calcium chloride to get that increase. If not, test error does seem likely, either on the 380 or the 590 test result.
