I'm pretty sure I ruined their day (besides the fact I sucked them off the ATS with a pipette) when I went to 60x and 100x spring objectives. I noticed after that the ostracod shell was broken and the most mature upper left one was pushed back down in pretty solid.

Scraped off a little green film algae off my front glass before I cleaned it all off with my mag float. Almost all entirely Tetraselmis phytoplankton and various diatoms.

Those Tetraselmis LOVE light. If I kept focus on one spot long enough they would start swarming over to it and chaining together (film algae...). Also found Licmophora (triangle shaped diatom) that was newly forming and branched together still. First time being able to find that.

"Description: Epiphytic diatom, cells grow on a common stalk that is attached to rocks or algae..."

Jason - thanks for posting these! I recently picked up a scope, and tried my hand at focus stacking. Have you given this a shot at all? Here are a few of the shots I've gotten so far. Obviously have a lot to learn. Let me know if you have any tips you're able to share!
