Guys,

Does calibration fluid lose it’s accuracy over time?

A month ago I made up solution from a packet and stored it in a bottle but does it keep?

With what did you make the solution? Likely it does not keep. One way to know is just to calibrate with fresh solution vs your old one? PS. ORP variances can have multiple reasons for variance.

It’s very difficult and expensive to make/purchase a true ORP standard.

If the purpose of the solution is to calibrate an ORP probe, I think it’s an extreme waste of time. The probes do a fine job watching overall trends.

Did you mean an ORP probe storage solution?

I believe the sachets are designed for single use and I don't know how accurate they would be.
I think that they only cost about $5.

I just keep the probe clean - it doesn't seem to require frequent calibration

Ideally, ORP isn’t something the actually requires calibration like a pH meter.
