Orange shoulder tang color question

I got a great looking orange shoulder last week from marine collectors. First tang in the tank, 200g, and he’s pigging out lol. Won’t eat any nori sheets yet but is consuming everything else

Mine came from marine collectors as well. about 4-5" and gray. He spent a couple months gray until reverting to yellow. He turned yellow overnight.

Wow… gorgeous orange shoulder tangs everyone! I saw two at my LFS last weekend, one was about 2 inches and already mostly grey, another was almost 4 inches and completely yellow. I assumed it was sexual dimorphism (had never looked into it) and now came across the thread. Super cool.
