I would like some opinions on my current aquascape, I tried to make it have alot of habitat and hiding spots but Im not sure if I like it. Im going for more natural look, Im planning on removing some green rhodactis on the left side and most of the caulerpa on right side. Small barnacles on the right side is temporary, I dont know where to place them. Im planning on adding more types of macroalgae, sponge and gorgonians

Love the clutter and overgrowth you got goin in there. The natural look is always amazing. I think some red macros will make the whole thing pop some more

Wow! This is such a beautiful natural tank. There's been some really interesting Evo 13.5s posted recently and yours is certainly one of them.

I love it. This is the type of tank I enjoy looking at vs the glow on the dark neon looking tanks that is trendy. Well done
Thank you! I also enjoy natural over the bright neon corals :)

Ye, I think there may be too much green. I was going to remove some of the caulerpa racemosa to make room for some reds
I love it and think the algae looks great.
Thank you!
Love it. Agree with the suggestion to add a red macro or two. Maybe Botrycladia or string of pearls?
Thanks! I ordered the seasonal sampler from liveplants.com which should come with 3 random red algae, maybe Ill get some Botryocladia :slightly-smiling-face: I agree it would look good with its texture

I am surprised by the positive feedback. What are yalls opinion on removing the 2 rhodactis growing on the wall?

Have you tried some Gorgonian? That would be add maybe just enough height. Something like a Grube's maybe?

Im going to add 3 different species tomorrow. I havent heard of Grube's Gorgonian before but I like how it looks, maybe a future resident if I have room left

I love the tank, but for some reason can’t get over the fact that it lacks empty space in the back of the tank. I’m not sure why I find that to be necessary but I even do it with all of my current tanks, I try not to push everything to the back. But honestly, it’s such a nestled feeling it’s growing on me and I’m starting to love it more and more.

Just wait for that macro to go nuts... It will fill the tank.

You can cut it back. I used to take cuttings to my LFS. They would trade me for water or store credit.

Ye I was kinda picky about that aswell but its such a small space to work with. Im bad at making detailed scape with just the middle to work with, my previous scape on my build thread was off the back wall and it looked too plain to me

Considered sponges?
I think some sponges like red tree sponges and ruffle sponges with some red macros like birdsnest gracillaria and red sea grapes would look great.
Love the natural look!
Im adding a Purple Photosynthetic and also trying to get some pink sponge to seed some rubble from another tank I have, not sure on its species. I actually have some gracillaria sp. next to the caulerpa taxifolia

Tank looks awesome! You have to be careful about that Caulerpa. You have 2 different species that will absolutely take off, and will likely bottom out your nutrients.
Thanks! Hopefully the Caulerpa dont take all the nutrients, Im broadcasting 2 different bottles of phyto daily for 2 species of bryozoan and a Blood Ark Clam. Im also dosing chaetogro and spot feed reefroids to corals
