Hello! I got a Euphyllia dominant tank with around 14 Euphyllia and one of them has gotten mad about a week ago. Other Euphyllia’s are fine. A few days ago a smaller head of that frammer is showing the same signs. I saw something on it which I can’t place. I was afraid it might be flatworm eggs, but I can’t find it on anything else.

The last 2 pictures are of what they used to look like.

Sorry about that. Could use a coral dip and see if any pests come off. Or, See any brown tissue? A KFC dip is good for infection.
KFC dip is illegal in the Netherlands sadly… well Cipro is. Don’t see anything brown, but I did just spot something white? No idea what this is.

Some of my corals take turns being cranky
at first thats what I thought but after seeing this I’m not sure.

Tried to dip it and got complete polyp bailout. Sadly this one didn’t make it… Just got to make sure others didn’t get it.

Shoot that was quick. Wouldnt want that to spread. If you see others start acting weird, you could try the dip without cipro. Can you get amoxicillin? Then, chemiclean and brighwell restore are the other ingredients.

I can not get amoxicillin. They are really strict here. Chemiclean is also not available in the Netherlands. I do have one Cipro for emergencies. But it’s impossible to get here without traveling to other countries so I’d rather not use that until it’s the last option.

That’s rough. Here in the US it’s usually ridiculously easy to get those things. Do you have anyone that you know in less restrictive countries that could send you some? Or will customs inspectors nab it?

Yea customs will probably nab it. You can only get it here on prescription. There is 1 specific Euphyllia seller here that goed to Indonesia once/twice a year to import corals and he manages to bring some back, but he doesn’t really sell it cause he also doesn’t want to get in trouble (understandable). The smaller frag is starting to show the same signs. I both got them from the same guy and it’s the same type of frammer so maybe it’s something that is just affecting them…

So I have found a way to be able to do a cipro cure. Another Euphyllia is showing signs of distress so I want to fix it. All online calculations use 500MG pills, but I have 125MG pills. Anyone know the right calculations?
