Sigh, here we go. One ridicules name deserves another. Not so much a freak or a fluke as the blood but not captive nearly as long either. This is just one of those pieces I saw a glimmer of promise in a while back and now that its been out of QT a few months is really starting to show its potential. The deep purple tips are what get me though. Lends a perfect contrast to rest of the body. Now this is the actual wild piece only all the missing branches went in boxes as freebies of the last few months.

I am happy growing out this remaining stalk and look forward to a year or so down the road when we can really see what this things made of. In the mean time here's an awesome teaser. And any of you that got a surprise frag of this guy in your box please feel free to share any thoughts or pics along the way.

This coral has me really excited! I think it is the abrotanoides-like tendencies...I would love to see a basketball sized colony :)

Bleeding heart is popping a growth tip too..not red yet, but it's a start! I am a patient cultivator of the SPS. :biggrin1:
