I am really liking this one. I am still waiting for some yellow to come through. Adam I believe I remember you saying you cut a couple frags and placed them in different places in your tanks. Have you noticed anything with the yellow and what brings it out?

You are making me rethink my favorite table acro, but then I looked at your picture of the Aquaticman table and it still has to edge out for my favorite. Still an awesome looking acro though.

Nice coral but I have to ask how do you keep the egg crate so clean?

Also it is nice that you use white instead of black because it allows us to see that there is no trickery in your pics.

Ha! great question Dave, and one i have been asked a few times in the past. The answer is that I have a separate isolated tank set up for pic's, still connected to the main but the light is only on when I shoot, and further, the eggcrate is only a 10x10 piece with a magnet attached, that is only in the tank when I shoot as well.

I thought I would give this awesome piece a bumpity bump. I have had this piece for 5 months now and it is starting to grow and color up. I can tell this is going to be a stunner!

By no means at all do I intend to offend anyone, in any way here. I mean it. I'm a moron it comes to these things, so please bear with me. I'll just come right out and say it. When I hear people refer to coral, especially ones they deem "hot” looking as “fire,” or say things like “bringing the fire,” I'll confess it makes me cringe a little bit.

Now I’m sure it's just me being snarky and overly sensitive, but I really can't stand that one, and I don't need validation on this either. Totally content being alone in my contempt.

So believe me when I say it, this will be the very last time you’ll see "fire” in a thread title, or hear me mention the word “fire” at all with any regard to coral. So let's go.

FIRE FIRE FIRE away Bonfire table. It's a "cool" one...

Here’s my bonfire. I’m not super proud of how mine looks compared to some others, but what the heck... and the cell phone shot doesn’t do this thing justice. I’ll say this... although I haven’t been able to pull out all the colors that I’ve seen in real life from other reefers, this is one of the hardiest acro’s that I’ve owned. I’m super embarrassed to admit this, but last year I was out on my driveway chiseling all my frags off rocks during a tank upgrade because I wanted to re-aquascape and attach them elsewhere. Well, I left the bonfire lying on the driveway for about 1.5 hours in 95 degree heat. Put it back in the new tank, it slimed a lot, but otherwise didn’t miss a beat!
