Official nominations for the 2017 B.O.D

I know that it seems a bit early for this, but after next weekends meeting there is only 1 more meeting before the December meeting which is the election. I would like to encourage everyone to get involved with the club and if you have the time and drive to possibly run for a place on the board. If you did not know, every position is voted in by the membership at the December meeting every year. We are in need of motivated people to move the club forward and an influx of new ideas is always welcomed.

The Positions are as follows:

President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Web Master
Membership
Raffle
Special Events
News Letter

You do not have to be a long time member to get involved. The positions are open to any current member. That is really it, just be paid up on dues or a lifetime member.

You can nominate who you would like to see as your next Board of Directors members below, at the Sept or Oct meeting or respond via E-mail to the newsletter.

You could always turn the job down at the elections, not that you would want to, but I think my wife and @ReefQueen would pretty pretty upset if that left "me" with having to figure it out.

I accept - hopefully whomever ends up being the official special events person will get lots, and lots of help with the Frag Swap special event. LOL = not a one man job.

Lol, oh yeah, that could and probably will be you. I'm going with a frag swap is a whole club event and while special should not fall to one person.

There aren't many nominations as of yet. I compiled a list and printed copies for tomorrows BoD meeting. I imagine that there will be many more nominations before the end of November.

Frank Watters nominated himself to run for president for a second term.

We would love to get more nominations and it is legal to nominate yourself iv you would like to run for a position.

Well it is our countries election day so I thought that it would be a good time to encourage everyone to run for next years Board of Directors.

Frank Watters has decided not to run next year. So currently we only have one person nominated for each position, so it would be nice to have more. So, now is your chance the current nominations are as follows.
