Cool! Any issues with the G5’s like others have had? I’m in the market for new lights and leaning forward the radions or hydras. How’s the shimmer?

Nope! I love the light. I use a diffuser and don’t notice any shimmer. After having the Radion xr30 blue which isn’t really that blue I’ll never own another light on any tank

Im jealous! Your tank is packed like mine and looks great! The back wall gsp is awesome looking! I have the 32 gallon version, I wish i was working with the larger one that has the overflow in the rear and not caddy cornered like mine. This was a test tank for me to see if I could disprove all the stereotypes of people barking orders about take your time, nothing good happens fast, no SPS for 6-12 months, etc. Im having to trim back the SPS so they dont kill each other lol, was not expecting so much growth. Easyreefs has great products, my tank took off when i started dosing their easySPS food and Easybooster phyto. Im actually having to remove stuff because they are growing too large. Zoas and palys were the worst thing I could have put into an sps tank. They are like weeds and killed a couple acros. Actually grown over them lol. I had to surgically remove them.

I wanted to ask you how you like that plank?? I was considering one since I work most all day, but was worried it would just be too big in the tank...

@Pkunk35 looks good! Im regretting the zoas big time lol. My sps is growing off the charts, its crazy. I didnt anticipate the base growth. I'll do a FTS next week as an update, I'm leaving my office in a few and wont be back around the tank until Monday. That leads into your question. I am not with this tank for 3 days every week and sometimes 10 days at a time. SO i had to get my automation down pat for food, coral food, phyto, additives. Everything was easy except the food. The Neptune AFS sucked and would dump too much or too little. My PO4 would jump if i was gone for a week. Since Ive had the plank ive had zero issues. In fact im struggling with 0 Nitrate so had to adjust the light time of the fuge. Phospate stays steady around .04 when I was running .1-.15 for a few months before the plank. It is very easy to work, bit of an eyesore but whatever. I can even sprinkle in some reef roids but using the freeze dried mysis and calanus and brine has been awesome. I highly recommend the Plank
