Hello everyone, I was curious if it wouldn’t or would be a problem if both snowflake and naked clownfish would be in a 40 gallon breeder together. I haven’t done much research about the Ocellaris naked clownfish but I know they are peaceful and reef safe. With my own understanding at the moment, I think it would be okay to put two clownfish that are from the same species such as “ocellaris”! Yet I still wanted to make sure if it was okay to put these two together in a 40 gallon breeder!
Thanks!

Always a slight gamble with clownfish no matter. Just make sure there is a good size difference in them. Also a good idea to have an isolation box handy.

Ive added a similar sized snowflake clown to my box standard clownfish thats been in my 100gal tank for a few months and they really gave each other no issues and would be found swimming or sleeping together after a few days.

As long as theres 1 of each and never odd numbers, or theres enough room in your tank for a second pair, im sure they will be fine.

Just added him into the tank, they didn’t have a problem with each other when they went face to face! They don’t nip at each other or chase each other which is great! They both are chill!!
