So it may or may not be an emergency again, I can't find the cbb, 1 shrimp or 1 of the anthias. They are probably in the rock work. My brother said he saw the cbb out in the morning before the lights turned on. I baited it out with the scent of food but still didn't see anything. Everything except for the damsal is staying in the rock work.
This is not unusual. The fish just went through a traumatic experience and are in a new environment with unknown predators. Give them a few days, maybe even with the lights out, to acclimate.

that's crazy, could you dispute for them being dead and poor shipping? Who ships live animals on a Friday?!

I feel bad for anything under her care. Some people have no compassion for living things.
Yeah me too. I did actually report her to ebay but as Bean said they dont like to run off sellers. They said since she refunded me for what was lost then she was good. But her store is slammed with terrible reviews and hasnt sold anything on ebay in a while looks like since reviews will tank a seller

Fish can and will slip into places you'd never think. We had to break a piece of coral from figi that was about 2 feet wide because our hippo got stuck in it. Sucks to break it but the hippo is still doing great which is what matters. Give the lil one a couple of days and just keep watching.

I'm also looking at coral from coral King llc. 100% positive feedback.
Please invest in a Quarantine system for your corals first. It's imperative to quarantine anything wet before you put it in your display tank. You do not want to be stuck with a deadly disease like velvet which can be introduced with unquaratined corals.

The problem is that I have a tight scape that may have a butterfly stuck.

The reef in the wild is a tight scape... it would be unusual for a healthy fish to get stuck unless you had a rock slide.

Copperbands are finicky and fragile and a lot of them don't make it unfortunately even if they are eating.

If I have a 30 gallon I recently took down, could I use that. The light on it sucks, a cheap 70$.

Not me I'm in highschool, the fish seller.
That's what I interpreted. I couldn't even finish a basic acrylic project in nursing school. During a clinical rotation aside from lecture lab and tests (written and practical) after your 12 hour shift at a hospital 2 hours away you have a couple of days to turn in 20 or so pages of work. A lot of all nighters and for work I would have to find the most brain dead job I could of I wanted to make money. The fistula story is true though. In a not so great post op geriatric rehab and care facility we didn't have access to the electronic charting system as they were just switching over from extremely disorganized paper records where most notes were written by a doctor and were so illegible that even out instructor couldn't decifer them. During morning round week 3 when my team was going around taking vitals I thought something was off about one of our assigned patients arm. Fistulas are normally more noticable. We typically would just ask the patient if they had a preference. Most vitals had to be taken manually as the facility only has 1 half broken dinamap. Well an geriatric patient post op likely with some form of dementia isn't likely to remember something like that so after digging through a binding I found a note that I could only make out to be referencing the patients arm after calling the instructor over to interpret the handwriting our team got a special lecture on fistulas. Messed up thing is I was the first person in the facility to notice. Last I recalled he was discharged but I didn't come home that night thinking about checking my live rock/at tank for a massive vermitid outbreak........ Didn't lose any fish but I did lose a nice long spine I was a bit attached to......

A lot of custom work or tank maintenance I do is for doctors, because after getting back the results of a full panel and trying to interpret the results of 50 or so values of I told them their water parameters the would call a crash team to their house thinking their fish are going to start dropping from extensive hypernatrimia before I can say anything thing else especial if they're on call.

Haven't read the whole thread but from what I got, being in the hobby and selling while in nursing school, or really college in general is not something that most people would be willing to compromise graduating for so if it was me the hobby would be compromised not school

what r u gonna do with the tank when u go to college? im still trying to figure the same thing out lol
I got away with having a tank in my dorm by the devil's luck. I would cover it with a sheet of any makeshift disguise I could think of if I suspected inspections. Kept my qt and reservoir under the bed

I fought a dispute like this with PayPal all the way to the top over about 700 and it took 2 months way too much time and they auto closed in the seller's favor. Wasn't worth it

That is extremely hard to do. Ebay has invested so much into preventing off site sales people get Knicked by error

Well the OP said he found her on eBay and she sent him to her website. Don’t know the details.
