I've got two of these lights right now and they've run flawlessly for around a year (I think, maybe less). Tonight I loaded the app and changed the settings and all seemed fine. Several hours later one of the two lights comes on (the slave one) but the other is off. My first guess was it just lost sync, so I tried to resync it but it won't connect. So I connected to the master with the app and there seems to be a weird messed up connection between the two. When I adjust the settings on the master the slave will just randomly turn one of the color channels on or off. There doesn't seem to be any recognizable pattern to it. Did I just lose a light? Any ideas what I can do to get it working? I can't afford to buy another one right now.

Sorry if this is a bit disorganized, I've been awake for over 24 hours now so definitely not at my best.

I have 6 running but no issues with them syncing. You only have two lights maybe reset them and try setting them both as master then program each individually. Not really a fix for the sync issue but it will at least let you know if the lights are both functional.

I've tried doing that very thing. I can't seem to break the messed up sync. When I set the original slave as a master it doesn't ever give an AP, so I can't connect to it, and when I connect to the other one it still changes that one, even though it's set to master. I fear something broke :(

Do you have a blue led indicator on both lights? If not then one didn't reset. Just throwing stuff out there. Maybe unplug the one that is working and then try resetting the other. Maybe the master is interfering with the slave resetting . It shouldn't but it's worth a try. That's about all I can think of.

sounds like a frustrating sync issue. i will advise you try resetting the lights completely and re-syncing them from scratch?

Yeah, and I can set them to master or slave without issue, it just doesn't change anything :(

Yeah, I did that as well, but it still thinks they're sync'd somehow. I even left one off, configured the other, then swapped power, and it still messed up. Oh well, I've got 50% light for the moment.
