List announced!!!

After various references, we will publish the list,and send our noopsyche K7 II 95W to the aquarium enthusiasts. We decided to add 10 lights for a total of 20 lights. The selected person post a new thread in noopsyche, each person post a thread, six people open six threads, used to record their own light growth, light mixing effect, PAR value, spectrometry for one month, and record at least once a week.
We will carry out other activities in the later stage and hope that everyone will actively participate.

James M : A set of light fixture (Light 1+ Light bracket 1+Controller 1)
Crimsonvice : Light 4+ Light bracket 4+Controller 1
Waboss : Light 2+ Light bracket 2+Controller 1
MSB123 : Light 6+ Light bracket 6+Controller 1

It's doesn't matter. I believe that you can do it well in other. We will ship the goods together with the shipping address and we will send you the logistics tracking number.

Oh wow!! I’m super excited to try LEDs on my tank. I do have a par meter, so will be able to take measurements. That will be good to make sure the corals aren’t getting too much or too little during the change.

I think it was changed slightly so that people with larger aquariums could try it out; they increased the number of lights in the giveaway from 10 to 20.

Congratulations to the winners, so sad I didn't got the opportunity to be part of the experiment and the experience of using them to show how they work and document the progress and growth of corals from a fragile frag all the way to a full develop colony.

We give away total of ten lights.

Participant requirements :

a. When was your tank established?

b. What equipment are you using now?

c. The full view picture of the tank.

d. Tank size (length * width * height)

e. Share the event to the aquarium related circles and take a screenshot


The selected person records the light growth, light mixing effect, PAR value, spectrometertest for one month, and records at least once a week.

Activity end time: Dec 7th, 2018, US Eastern Time.

Must not be very good spread if it takes 6 lights to cover a 47" wide tank. You could cover a 48" x 24" x 24" with 4 AI Hydra Primes and those are single pucks not dual like these are.

We are talking SPS coverage, not LPS. 4 AI primes would not be able to cover the full width of the tank without being mounted high up and having insufficient PAR.
