Hey there I wanted to discuss water changeless systems!

I personally don’t do water changes on my sps tank. My regimen includes feeding, wiping the glass, and experimenting with supplements. I have a Neptune dos dosing 2.5 liters of saturated kalk as well as a magnesium, strontium mix. I also run Red Sea abcd on a separate doser and check with icps every few months. I also run a trident.

For nutrient export I run an over sized skimmer and lots of bio media and that’s it, my tank inhabitants do the rest of the nutrient export.

10 months was my last water change, I do sell coral occasionally which has probably changed 5 gallons over those 10 months.

My nutrients read .08, 32

Anyone else do something similar? Photo of tank below.

I currently do wwaterchanges, but they are a pain. If I could just dose something that would make life way easier.... I might start researching it.
I did it almost by accident, I’m working a lot so I don’t wc a lot in general and I started experimenting with trace. Basically you just need good nutrient export though other means as well as a way to get trace in via moonshiners or something of the sort

I have not done a water change for way over 2 years. I have a 420 lit tank with s/lps soft corals and a few zoas, I have about 20 fish that are heavily fed. I am using all export methods: skimmer, cheato refuge, I dose Elimi NP (8ml /day 4x the max recommended amount) and TM amino organic as my nitrates are near zero. My phosphate is always too high usually 0.2 but recently 0.4. I do not do icp . I use Balling method so I guess I am adding about 2 lit fresh seawater every week. I also dose A & K elements and reef actif once a week.
