Luckily firefish and zoas are a dime a dozen
I think I left enough elevation room for a wrass. Want some more hides though.

Move plane so far

After prepping new sand
-Drain water to a tote w air and pump for livestock and coral and rocks
-Move rock structure and ensure solid footing (rocks are elevated on lava rocks for goby friends)
-Once light enough move stand and 20 gallon
-Move 40 and stand into place.
-put new rinsed sand bed down fill with a sizable amount new sea water
-Get livestock comfy happy and rehouse
-top off any remaining gaps w new water reserve.

Plan to have about a full 20s worth of water available and prepped in a separate tote just in case.
Did you have any issues adding lava rocks to your system? I’ve heard they might contain certain elements that would harm saltwater fish and corals but seems to be fine in your system.

I haven’t run into any issues.
I’ve been using the black lava rock from Home Depot rinsed and soaked for pod housing for a while

Also use it in my freshwater setups for bacterial housing in black water.

Lfs had a frag sale
Picked up 2 euphelia and 2 cephastrea

One is for sure a hammer
The other has shorter polyps I almost think like a galaxea but we’ll see as they get comfortable and extend.

5 month update added a skimmer it’s undersized but the Alveopora seems to like it a bit on the dirtier side so I think that will help maintain the levels it’s happiest.

No losses. CuC added a blenny, a few more handfuls of hermits and shells, some margarita snails.

Think it’s almost time for some new coral life, maybe something for the branching rock in the back.

Current stocking:
1 red scooter dragonet
2 firefish (they bff’s attached at the hip thank goodness)
1 banggai
1 lawnmower blenny
1 Duncan w 4 heads now
Alveopora that’s been fluffing out really happy.
2 heads of acans in intensive care, (they had an infestation of glass anemone we’ve been fighting)
An orange cactus coral
A green what I think is cyphastrea.
Like 15 hermits, blue and red leg. 1 crimson guy running around there I seen.
3 margarita snails
5 astrea
1 baby hitchhiker trochus (jackpot)
Couple of them sand snails w the snorkels
And w emerald crabs who seems to have taken residence w the Duncan’s w no sign of moving.
