Bought a second hand Red Sea 250. The plate the drain pipe feeds through is a bit broken so it doesn’t seal.

Anyway, after replacing 0 rings the issue be fixed , so I’m ordering a new aquarium online but it’ll take a few days to arrive.

Problem is there’s dry rock, a new bag of live sand and water in my tank and I can’t turn anything on because of the leak.

Will the sand survive a few days without the pump etc being turned on?

You'll be fine. If you think about it, the bag of live sand comes sealed with little to no circulation. If you're still worried then you can put in a pump, powerhead or an air pump to get some water movement.

Lower the water to below the over flow run the tank with a power head or air pump, wait and get the new bushing.
