Are you planning on using reeflink to gain access to any of the other features of the M1? Or are you just going to use as is for the foreseeable future?
For now, I just plan on using it as is. I'm running the skimmer and Zeovit reactor thru the manifold and I have everything dialed in, so fluctuating the return pump flow will effect the reactor and skimmer.
Unless I wake up one day and want to reconfigure the setup I plan on running it like this.

Mine is crude. Good set ups on Youtube - Natural Reefing and Anton Post.
See photo. Still figuring out best in flow. I didn't want to drill holes so I have an Eshopps overflow box siphoning out of the fuge. Using spare Tankmaid filter to put water in the fuge at the moment.

I did this. Some people leave it in place and plumb it - you can look at the big reefer build thread and see who. I just put mine inside the sump so I had some containment. I have macroalgaes in there.
How are you getting the water into the fuge spiraling?

I'm letting it run over the top.
I had the glass box on the left of the skimmer and the extra wall height there kept things in, but my light was poor (I had an LED and the cheap home depot clip on) so the chaeo wasn't growing well. I swapped my skimmer and fuge, and got a kessil. In the glass box I had some different "rooted or glued" macros and they looked pretty good, but weren't growing that fast. with the light I was also able to use the area under the socks (I don't use the the socks except after a tank cleaning) and the area where the returns come in. They are all lit by the kessil, but I wish it had wider spread or I could hang it higher. I had ulva in first section (with returns) and it grew like a weed. Like cheit is breaks off and goes other places. My skimmer got noisy and I cleaned it to find ulva leaf in the needle wheel.

Now I've but the ulva in a mesh bag. I moved it to the glass box since it was more room. At this point things are working, but I think either a top on the glass box or a divider instead of it might be better long term. I know there are some really nice ones made, but I may take some plastic, cut holes in it, but mesh over to prevent smaller leaves escaping, and use that as a devider between the skimmer, and the rest of the sump that is all being used a fuge. make sense?

Need some advice on PH. So everything so far seems to be doing fine and the tank looks great. I am a little concerned about PH. The current daily range is a low of 7.92 at midnight and a high of 8.14 at noon. I am thinking that this is to low. How can I increase the PH on the tank safely? Any Ideas?

Thought I would post some pictures of what the tank currently looks like. I have moved everything from my old tank except for 1 Elegance Coral that I will probably put in, in a couple of days. The tank is 1 month old.

Today I installed the second MP40 from my old tank and 2 Ecotech Battery backups. I set them up connected to each other to maximize runtime. Getting backup power is the Vectra return pump and one MP40. This should give enough runtime for about 36 hours. At this point the cabinet on the right has been overtaken by the APEX Controller and all of the add-on's. I have tried to install everything with cable management in mind, without being super particular. So far I'm happy with the look of the cabinet.
