Hello all,

My name is Kris, but I go by enlighten on the web. I am a new Nano Reefer from the west coast. Born and raised in LA county, moved out to Santa Cruz for college. Lived along the peninsula for the last decade and recently relocated to the central valley, near Fresno.

Well I guess you can say I missed the ocean so decided to bring a little part of it into my home.

I am new saltwater but had my share of freshwater tanks. Did a ton of research and still have quite a bit to do. Will start a build thread soon and attempt to revive F.R.A.G.

Those are my current goals. My current tank is a converted Aqueon 7.5g Shrimp and Plant tank. So far I have live sand and rock. Much more to come!

I am glad to meet anyone willing to share experience and contribute to my journey into reefing. I really appreciate everyone who takes the time to read and respond to my posts.

In time, I want to be the one on R2R giving advice to the noobies!

Hi Kris and Welcome! Glad you joined. Sounds like you are going to fit right in here at Reef2Reef.
