What is your Bulb combo on the ATI? Tank is looking great by the way!
Hi Gator! My lights go like this:

Screen Shot 2016-09-22 at 1.23.01 PM.png

And on the front and back of the ATI there are strips with 12x cree royal blue LEDs that are run at about 70%.
(B+ = blue plus, P+ = purple plus)

It is my favorite combo yet. I highly suggest trying it!

Any latest update?

Not a ton new, corals are growing and all seems happy. After reading Terence from Neptune's thread, I changed my heaters to ones with separate contollers to have more redundancy so that the tank cant overheat (or it is a lot less likely to).

I also swapped out some float switches that went bad. I cant wait to get the neptune FMM with the optical float switches, not having to worry about them going bad will be nice!

Lastly, I am in the market for a used masterflex peristaltic pump, I am tired of having my CARX effluent get plugged and the drip slows, or I adjust it and it clears and goes too fast. Time to take control!

I'll add some pics in a week or so, for now.... I think we are getting ready to have that baby!

Not a ton new, corals are growing, our new baby girl is growing, and we have three more Lyretail Anthias fattening up in QT preparing to join our Anthias family.

I am still looking for a peristaltic pump, since my darn drip rate is as unstable as ever which makes my ALK fluctuate, but as long as I check it daily it doesnt get too bad.

Some Pics from Tonight (sorry it was late so lights were dim):

awesome. so colorful. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks! I just put a few new acros in, Laura's Purple Polyp, Garf Bonsai, and a blue tip green slimer that I used to have an lost. Excited to see them color up.

I think I'll move the Anthias in tonight. Anyone have tips on acclimating them with the others so that they don't get trounced right away? (all same species)

I did just that, moved them in at twilight in the evening. It went pretty well, in fact the large Anthias adopted the little ones by noon the next day.

Unfortunately, the Large Male Potters wrasse has become quite the brute, he is quite mean to the little lady Potters wrasse once the lights come on. No wonder she goes to sleep under the sand as soon as he gets active. His colors get crazy (very dark vertical stripes) and he turns into a madman. Domestic wrasse disputes are bad news.

So here is what a male potters wrasse looks like when he is showing his aggression/sexytime colors.

This is his poor bewildered girlfriend. He is about 6-7" long and she is about 3-4". She still wakes up with the sunrise and goes to sleep right when the main lights turn on. I don't blame her, he is so aggressive. I am still hopeful that they may work it out.

The Anthias are all still doing well, but one of the smaller ones has been getting beaten up lately a bit more than the rest. If it continues I may catch her and QT again to get her strength back.

Here is my new favorite space invaders pic, taken with the filter that my wife bought me for our anniversary, it makes it so that your camera takes pictures that look like what you SEE not just a blue mess.

Heres a Reeftek Starburst Monti with the same filter:

And a WWC Snowdrop acro (I think that was the name):

Only changes coming soon are the addition of a CO2 scrubber on the skimmer air intake with Soda Lime, and a peristaltic pump to handle the Calcium reactor effluent. Either the new Pacific sun unit, a Neptune DOS, or a used Masterflex. Not sure which, prices are similar. Pacific Sun is an unknown quantity (its brand new), Neptune DOS isn't really designed for that but it could do it, and the Masterflex is loud but will work forever (only problem is cheap ones look like they have been through WWII). But... I need to do something, I cant keep having my alk wander as the drip line clogs and changes.

Thanks Collin! I appreciate it, it has been quite a ride! Things are going pretty well, just a few more tweaks to make it really stable. My SPS cannot wait for better stability.
