Same. Not sure where these awful experiences come from - not that I doubt anyone. Have had an Apex Classic for what seems like 10 years now (but sure fact check me on when the classic first came out). But I have my original model, screen still works - and it's been abused to hell - water spillage and all kinds of self inflicted stupidity. Always worked flawlessly. True story, finally upgraded firmware this past spring to have fusion and the app interoperability - pretty nice to get some new free functionality on an old toy. Maybe it's a newer thing on the newer 2016/gray models? I dunno, my classic has been great....Mine work great. Literally never had a failure even with ~7 year old used apex LITE units. I recently got an ATK just to see what people were complaining about, and haven’t seen a single issue either.

and a variety of modules, and have never needed to use the warranty. Customer service has been awesome, with their screen sharing to diagnose some of my weird router settings.
