I have been looking for frags of red dragon for a while, closest I have to it is purple beacon acro

It was a cultured import piece, I wouldn't normally get a piece that big but it was so healthy looking with great base flesh, I had to have it. :)

The nem!
What a gorgeous animal, it is still adjusting, it's settled and knows where it wants the head to be, it was been shuffling it's foot for a few days looking for the most comfortable grip spot! :)
I have changed the flow 2 or 3 times over the past couple of weeks, little tweaks.
I have to be careful because of the fleshy lps and also wanted to raise the sps flow.
It is now in a low to medium flow spot with good random gusts, I love it big lots! :)

The view past it, desk view, is under the island, yes that is a Jenga rock, don't even go there with that getting disturbed! :p
And yes that is the same chalice, it's quite big, left edge is nearly fully shaded, I probably should move it. :)

That is such a fantastic shot... You put the "mixed" in mixed reef. Even the blue sponge on the right seems to be doing great!

Thanks, the sponge is growing so I must be doing something right!
I do enjoy the challenge of trying to keep all my animals happy when the tank is only 18" tall, I have hit a bit of a sweet spot at the moment so I'm trying not to fiddle too much.
Kh tested 7.7 yesterday about 2 hours past max lights, I'll try and do the cal and mag tonight or tomorrow at around the same time, the doser (me) appears to be on top of things, I'm still working on setting up the Kamoer! ;)

These were tips knocked off the red dragon in transit, less than 1/2 ", we have base flesh! ;)

Still untouched, showing the blue nicely today. :)

The tank feels so much better with a jewel blenny back in, when the last one went mia I wept, it was like the soul was removed from the tank!
This one has taken ages to settle in the big tank, it was in the ex tank that shall not be named when it decided to leak, it was super happy and was fed by hand.
The tang give it a small amount of grief for a few weeks but that has calmed down now.
Happy daddy! :)

Oh and with added ln hawk! ;)

I changed the tube *switch on* order a couple of weeks ago, actually reversed it so the inside pair come on first (d'uh, over the sps) and the outside pair last.
The blue+ pair now come on third and are just about tolerable for the half hour before the last pair come on! ;)
