You know that moment your heart just sinks!?
Yes aefw, all my acros bar one are on the floating island rock, there could be a lot of dipping going on.
Aw man.. that is about as bad as it gets. :(

The UWC product for use in a reef tank has shown some promise, but is still very hit or miss. Hopefully the wrasse will keep it in check!

Warts and all, lights still ramping and T5 pairs on the blue pair (not a fan of the blue look), the next 2 pairs of T5s cut through it! :)

This is a crazy effect! Looks almost like a sunrise on the side of a mountain. One side lit, the other in shadow.

Thanks, if I could be bothered to clean the glass, not going to happen in the cube end, the display scape sort of continues! ;)

Looking amazing! More and more sticks in there ;)

I love all my little friends, it is hard getting the lighting right for everyone when the display is a mixed reef but only 18" tall! ;)

Your tank has been an inspiration for mine. It’s so natural looking. Really looks like the ocean reefs.

Thank you for your kind words, I stopped running the skimmer a month or so back, my nutrients were a bit low.
I am now back to watching how the caulerpa in the display is growing to judge things.
The scopas tang has a tendency to interfere with that my eating the fresh young growth tips! :)

Beautiful Simon, very nice

Thank you, your's also. :)

Thanks, it works for me, would I recommend running a tank like this, no.
For me it is all about observation, hours a day not minutes! ;)

The nem is on the move, it has been moving about an inch a day for a few days, I lowered the flow in it's spot about 5 days ago, currently heading for no corals.
If it at any point it looks like it is about to release from the rock I will remove it and take it back.
Watch this space I guess?! ;)

Sorry to hear about AFW’s Simon :( On a bright note your tank looks as stunning as ever :)

Thanks, interestingly no new damage to anything, I think the frag is now dead, I have something I might try but I need to buy a test kit!

New chalice frag just in. :)

Thanks, I glued 2 less than half inch tips that broke off in the bag to a plug, both still alive! :)

Wow!

My first tank had no SPS.

I tried a few small frags in my current tank but I rushed it and failed.

I am very stable now and I am anxious to try SPS again.

I should know soon If I am moving again or not, and if I’m staying, well, let’s just say I’ve been saving up to dump some serious amounts of coral in!

I’m sure I will be asking you and others lots of questions regarding sps.

Cheers.

Thanks, If tried and failed a couple of times with sps, 3 events I could not for see, no complete wipe outs but lost a lot of acros and montis.
I have only been testing the water (phrase, I don't test the water except kh monthy (ish)).
Stability is the key and everyone's "stability" will be different, what works for you. :)

I'm a bit backed up with pics, I'll try to catch up later!
My little deformed dude, just under an inch of attitude! :p
