as always,awesome corals,photos,pullin for POTO ;)

I watched it a lot today and fed a lot today, I did think about it before doing so!
I bought a bottle of the same product I used and put it in a cupboard yesterday, I would use it again!
But, it has hit the tank generally, the tank is sulking, fish are fine but the corals are not so happy.
It was unfortunate that the tank was just recovering from the mini cycle, crap happens.
I still have this going on in the tank, if I bump my nitrates and phos again I will as long as Poto eats! :)

Thanks, re pictures, your camera skills with a phone amaze me, because I use a camera any not square to the glass angle adds distortion, I rarely take coral pics without the tip of the lens against the glass, it limits my options! :)

DSC_0658 (1024x683).jpg

The focus field is much tighter if the phone isnt flat against the glass. Things start getting distorted and fuzzy. Do whatcha can w what ya got! ;)

Thanks, there is something behind it I need a pic of but that is it's little beach and even though I put the tip of the lens to the glass two inches from it it just sat there and looked at me lol, shame it was facing away. ;)

Poto update, I have been thinking, it is a he from now on, I have no idea if this is correct but my thinking is this, you know the annoying little kid is always a boy, nuff said! ;)
He has been a bit more active today but still not eating properly, just about to try nori again but I will attach it differently.

I am going to try and get a better pic in a bit, I have no idea what they are, on the base of the orange nepthea. ;)

Poto is less active today and not really grazing much.

New shrooms slowly waking up.

Add some Pacific oysters, may take awhile to find Hardy ones, but well worth it, you might want to start with like four them and hang them in fishnet stocking and be ready to take them out and keep them in a different container when they spawn. Just saying

I'm very curious on your setup, because you have a variety of corals and to see the effects, I think they'll be positive.

I thought I would try an experiment, take a pic with the camera and the same pic with my phone.
Camera, I waited until the first pair of T5s came on so the camera didn't have a hissy fit!

DSC_0699 (1024x737).jpg

I downloaded all the pics from my phone but there was an error with 5 pics that didn't download, you guessed it lol, by the time I twigged it another pair of T5s were on so not a fair comparison, ho hum. ;)

You know when you look at something and it takes a few minutes to figure out what is wrong?
Something moved the big chalice, it is at least 6 inches across, I guess I still have at least one mithrax but it could have been an urchin.
Luckily it stopped a couple of inches short of the scroll thingy!
