I just cleaned the desk end glass, as I was putting the cleaner back where it stays the fox face appeared to have a panic attack, it thrashed around in a corner it doesn't normally go near.
I am worried it has damaged itself, it hasn't come back out of the scape! :(

Ok, net over the swim through trap in place, I have spent 2 days trying to isolate the venustus in the cube alone / all the big players in the display.
Yes still chewing corals but it is actually being picked on by the flame and the cherub so it is for it's own good as well.
I could do with this working quickly as the nasos are going to be frisky without the cube available!

I picked this up today for £35, a lovely shade of brown!
Pic also of a patch of colour.
There is a 1/2 inch "shelf" to the right and down where it was growing over the base glass in the shop and that also has colour.
They have had 3 of these for about 6 months and they were £80, I love when the manager gets a bee his bonnet and does little clearouts! ;)
About a 3 x 2 inch piece, can't wait to see what colour it is! ;)

Ff really freaked me out, I have had it from very small, it has never reacted to the glass cleaner before?
I cleaned the outside glass a few hours later and it shot off in to a different corner all camo and frightened, it does have me concerned as it has always been sociable and friendly!

Maybe it caught a glimpse of your twitchy right eye! :p

But seriously, that is strange that, after all this time, it is displaying such a reaction. Maybe it's due to the color of your shirt or pants and views you as a threat.

Never thought of that, maybe I should start wearing clothes around the tank! ;)

I know I am not often serious but I was being serious about the clothes color. It would be easy enough to test this theory.

If I am in the house and not going anywhere I wear a dark robe, I really don't understand and I move around a lot, it has never been spooked before!

As Charlie Chan would often say, "Velly intalesting."

Is your robe dark maroon, by chance?
