Can you get poly filters in England? IMO it’s an amazing product that I always keep on hand for emergencies.. great for removing all kinds of pollutants including heavy metals but also great for balancing out a mad tank, been using this product since the 80’s with excellent results.

HI - i have missed some of this. May I ask what type of cave gobies do you blame for the present situation. I have a similar problem with acropora for the moment. Acropora I have had for several years just get white and die. I had problem with montipora too but for the moment it grow again.

Sincerely Lasse

I see the problem if your sand bed was not touched before.

If I use this type of gobies (and other sand digging fishes or organisms) I introduce them early in the process

But I have the same problem with acropora

Yep - I have four theories - two of them - acceptable - the other two - if they are true - a mind change is necessary for me. I´m waiting for the result from Triton (took them last Friday)

Sorry to read about your SPS problems. :( How are you getting on with the black sun?

Regards

Lisa

My 2 are fine, still nocturnal, I can wait.
New rescues are doing quite well, I will be giving them a liquid food bath again tomorrow, they appear ok.

Simon you save soooo much more than you lose in your system. If reefing was easy, we wouldnt do it. A few lost, and many gained. Cheers and chin up. This too shall pass.

Thanks, it will be what it will be, sort of fed up worrying about it now, my mojo is wandering.

This is the part of reef keeping that I have a hard time dealing with, I find myself depressed and unmotivated when things go south :( I try to put it behind me, focus on the present and of course search for my misplaced Mojo ;)
