I went to see the baby angel today, we all know how that ended right?!

The little box it was in with a fake coral was not good for it so it came home with me.
The egg crate box is because I couldn't catch the chrysurus so the emperor has a bolt home if required!
Like all the fish from my main lfs it swam out of the bag calmly and within 20 seconds it was taking pods off the glass.

Ya know Si... that concept is genius. Not an egg crate to keep 1 said fish in, or to acclimate... but instead, give a "safe" place to find shelter in a space the larger fish cannot get into.

Just a simple, perfect concept for this situation. Must be so entertaining to watch a juvenile like that running around when u know what it will look like in 3 or 4 years.

Thank you, it has used it but generally the chrysurus has left it alone.
It can graze on pods happily in there but I have been loving watching it explore.
I remember when I added the flame as a baby, it went straight into the display, if it had something on it's tail it would swim through the frag rack made of egg crate and the chaser would be snookered!

Another lps going back to the lfs today, the bare glass is about 2 inches short of it and that is sand being blown onto it, I physically have nowhere to move it and I'm not going to lower the flow again.
