This is recovering well since the face plant on the lobo a few weeks ago. :)

I put a quick pic of this up when I got it, nearly 2 weeks ago, it was in a bad state.
Lilac / lavender with gold polyps, go gorg go! :)

Congrats by the way, it has plumper flesh and polyps, I am really pushing the boundary of what the caulerpa will deal with with and how the sps will react, I am watching! ;)

I got the egg crate and put a box together today, it looked like bjd, dip and turkey baster to remove crud, about 25% loss from skeleton, this makes me very sad.

I got the egg crate and put a box together today, it looked like bjd, dip and turkey baster to remove crud, about 25% loss from skeleton, this makes me very sad.

Sorry to see that Simon, and were awaiting the ‘good’ quickly!

I’m guessing there is a culprit in the tank somewhere unless you know of another likely cause

Thanks all, lights just coming on, I will get a pic once the T5s come on.
The flame angel was chewing the dead flesh, I'm not too concerned about that except it could give her a taste for corals!
The cause / fault was mine at least in part, as the sand piled up around it I wasn't moving it away quickly enough (engineer goby) and the base flesh got damaged.
