The flame could swim through one cm egg crate when I got her, the scopas was already in there, current issue is the big yellow wrasse going in, the scopas and flame have grown up together, I can actively flirt with her now and she doesn't shoot off, just displays at me and wiggles!
Just too darned fast to get pics of! ;)

Wow. That is a grea5 picture of a gorgeous fish. My eyes are burning from the flame. Sorry for the cheesy poetry. You on the other hand have quite a “silver tongue” with your prose. I read your first post and will read more as you have good humor and you have good karma on your side as well.

I love drawf angels. I have four (flame, lemon peel, Coral Beauty and Pygmy) drawf angels in my 120G new build. The Pygmy is the most aggressive.

It seems that you started with the simplest of natural filtration. Have you maintaned that position at this time? In the meantime I will read a page at a time.

Happy reefing.

Thank you for the very nice words, yes I do still run it that way.
The top tank is 1650 x 650 x 450 mm shallow. Fully divided at 1000 with a 75 mm swim through hole.
Both sides have a weir box, 2 drains and one return, shared sump.
The skimmer has been off for months so it runs two heaters and two returns, oh and a refugium!
The display refugium is all caulerpa, it is like a jungle in there, I never touch the sump except to clear the surface (note to self needs doing dude), if I harvest it is from the top tank judging on growth.
I dose additives manually and also top up with ro manually twice a day.
No water changes unless there is a very good reason.
I do try and remember to test my kh once a month!
Just under 50% of the water volume is not in the display, I don't call it "natural", it is run a bit more "naturally" than most! :)
