This is a cool what I believe is a toadstool....I got from LFS. It hasn't been out much after purchasing because when I was scrubbing the frag plug, I was actually scrubbing the base of the toadstool. :disappointed-face:

Anyway. It comes out here and there. It has spikes that come out that look like a pencil urchin all around the coral. LFS said it was from Australia and had some long name that he couldnt remember. But it does look cool when out. Hopefully it will happy back up.

I was given this one by my LFS, it was a tiny thing growing on one of their frag racks. Here’s what you have to look forward to.

Well I noticed this morning that its starting to come out a bit so a snapped a pic. Looks like at the very tip there is actually a polyp. I guess once it gets real happy again from my scrubbing that I will be able to see better.

Happened to notice that this thing is open what I think is fully open during the day. Still not 100% sure on its name and origin, but I'm working on it.

Ok. Its at its full wonderfullness now. Its confirmed. It has polyps at the end of the extensions. It actually resembles the old water mines you would see on TV and cartoons.

Anyone else have this?
