I wondered if the fertilizer I use for phytoplankton was polluting my tank so I added two drops of F/2 to the tube of RO/DI water. I add 1.1 mL of F/2 to each bottle of phyto when I harvest, so I indirectly add 1.1 mL of F/2 to the tank every day when I dose phyto.

These results are from ATI.

This is my RO/DI water that I added two drops of Micro Algae Grow, F/2 to.

I do not think the lithium is a concern. It probably comes in the salt mix and other additives.

The zinc is unlikely an issue but I’d look around to be sure there are no metal parts in the water.
