Brad, have you had any problems with the wrasses jumping? It does not seem you have any covering over the tank.

Concerning the Regal nipping at the SPS, were you ever able to get him to feed off of prepared foods perhaps in a QT or in another system prior to him going in the DT? Does he go after prepared foods strongly? Thanks and outstanding results!!

Hi Bobby, Yes I do have a cover over the tank just for that reason. I have a large investment in these guys, and my cover is my insurance plan. LOL
My regal angel loves pellets, and is fed very well, but he lets me know when I forget to feed him by trimming a couple of acros every now and then.

Thank you for the pic. Is that the netting used for ponds to keep birds out? Again, great looking tank.

Yep, just plain old bird netting that you find at Lowes or Home Depot.
I built the frame out of window screen framing that is also found at either place. Total for all was around 25 bucks.

My tank has no top braceing except for the L steele frame which is powder coated. So I use a magnet to hold the screen down tight .
You can see it in the bottom left corner of the top of the tank.

Just an update on my joculator. He's doing great and has made new friends. His tail is getting back to normal also.
He already thinks he owns the joint. LOL

Lookin great Brad!

I have a question for you, not to hijack your thread though. Im setting up 300 gallon display tank and wanted to add a few wrasses. My question is should i go with pairs or trio's? Which would do better? Here is what i would like to see as far as wrasses go...
Oh, and i plan on getting all females and letting them work out who is gonna be male. But is there gonna be 1 male per species or out of all the wrasses?
I want a trio of Flames, 2 or 3 Lineatus, and 2 or 3 Rhomboid's...

What are your thoughts?

That sounds perfect roktsintst. If you add all females, I would go rhomboid first, then lineatus, then flames. I would beleive you would eventually end up with a male in all 3 of those species.
Let me know when you do this, I would love to see pictures.

hmmm... why add them in that order? I know where to get the lineatus and flames, but i havn't found a source for the Rhomboids? Any help?

And would you do 2 or 3 of each?
