Awsome wrasses ... the other fish are too shabby either ;)

Do you have a thread on your system somewhere? I'd be interested in reading about your tank size, etc!
Thank you SaraB, I dont have a thread here. You can ask me anything and I'll answer.

how much live rock do u have?

My live rock consists of 10 large peices with the heaviest one weighing 85lbs. It was hell getting it in the tank by myself without hitting the fixture and not scratching the acrylic. 285lbs total.

Your tank is outstanding! I forget sitting on the couch I would just be happy to stand and look/gaze for a while!! The couch would be good too...but I would need some popcorn I believe I would be there for a full feature length movie! Debbie

I was curious on the tank dimensions/gallons and what you run for equipment behind the scenes ... skimmer, reactors of sorts, etc.

Sure, The demensions of the tank are 72L x30W x 24H 225g
Underneath I run a Deltec AP702 skimmer, Deltec PF601s Calcium Reactor, Deltec fluidized reactor where I use rowa phos , Koralin nitrate reactor, and I run ozone.
I do a w/c every other week of 30 gallons, and I add a bag of carbon in my sock with about 2 cups of Kent carbon. My sump holds around 70 gallons where half of it is a refugium. My lighting is a Maristar 72 inch hanging light fixture in which I have 3, 250w de 14k pheonix bulbs and 4, 39w T-5's.

For circulation , I have a Dart sequence pump for return, another Dart on a closed loop, and have 2 MP40 vortechs. So somewhere around 12,000 gph circulation.

Cool, thanks Brad for the details and pics! We have similar tastes in fish (wrasses & Bellus) ;) I don't have as much rock as you, so I need to wait for my sps to grow in so that my fish have more hiding places ... and I can get more wrasses!

Is that a custom acrylic tank?

Thanks, the reason I ask is because I will be using around 340-350# of Tonga Kaelini (I been curing it for about 8 months), but I been thinking that it will look too crowded, but ur tank looks parfect to me so I will stick in using it all. Thanks.

Great looking fish.....I wish I had the stones toget a fish like the Joc but I don't think I could handle my corals getting nipped.....Hope they do well for you.

That Frogspawn is awsome.

Thank you again, I'm not sure if it was custom made, I bought it from a guy in Los Angeles. But thats another long story.
Amore169, How big is your new tank? Sounds big.
Azurel, It was and still is really tough to fork out that kind of money for a fish, let alone 2 of them. Hopefully all of my colonies are large enough to handle a bit of nipping. I'm always torn between, fish or coral. LOL
