She's out of the splint and has a walking boot now. Her foot hurts and she's not using the boot, just wearing it mostly. A few weeks and she gets PT. That's going to hurt for a bit but it'll make her stronger again.Its late, i hope everyone's well.
@tbrown hoping/praying the wife makes a full speedy recovery. Injuries + kids, its difficult.

We lost power for about an hour, but wrec got it up pretty quickly for us. We sat out back and watched the storm whip the trees around. Listen to transformers blow and explode all night long. Every time we had a power surge the sky lit up blue. I was not able to walk the property to check for damage further out but up close to the house everything was fine, I'm on my way to work now to check on the store in the animal to make sure all is well there and my husband will do a more thorough property walk at some point once he's awake. Not sure if it was the abandoned trailer on the property next to us or something on the property behind us but we definitely heard metal getting ripped around at one point as well.

You have an octopus???
No one really has an octopus... Life is a temporary thing especially for an octopus. I could never permanently have an octopus in my temperate tank, to much conflict. Besides just the sadness of a short life, I would have to devote a large tank just for one thing and try to keep it in there.
