Just got my Hanna HR nitrate, not good. Send help.

Apparently the aquaForest nitrate test is a big fat liar. It's been telling me I have no nitrates when I have so many. Too many. AF reports 2.5 ppm, I don't even want to say what the Hanna says. It's bad guys. Making water and gonna keep making water....

And to think all the nitrates I've been dosing.... Oh God.

I have lost nearly all my recent battle box order, except from the contest frag, which is great. No other coral looks affected, thankfully.

I did the same thing. I was flashing 75 when I got the Hanna. Nothing suffered from it...

Impossible! Your phosphates are obviously too high. Corals only grow when phosphates are between 0.02 and 0.05. I read it on that one thread. Also, your magnesium is too high, you should be shooting for 1350 and lower the alkalinity to 8.1. At least your calcium and nitrates are good. It's just too bad your pH is so low and your temperature is too high.

Rip clean. Rinse the sand and rocks. Throw away the corals and get new ones.

There's more backstory @Reefing_addiction ! Oh forget it, let's get morbid. I bequeath my corals to anyone named Becky. My wrasses go to the artist formerly known as Mibu. Tim gets my AT-AT. Frank gets the tanks. Nems are up for grabs, except the baby RFAs which go to @F i s h y to kick start his new RFA breeding project. Tim also gets my sand beds. Marshall gets the rocks from Marshall Islands. Maggie gets the rocks from Fiji and the other fish + pistol shrimp. Nate can have the other inverts, the Plank and the mini fridge/liquid food doser system. Sam gets all of my DIY items for inspiration. Did anyone not get something? Tim gets my testing kits that are only 3-6mo expired.

Can I have a single grain of sand? I’ll pay shipping lol. Or at least a photo of a thumbs up.

Yeah, my 125 sat at 70ish almost constantly and things grew. Fast sometimes.

Ok folks. Hanna did the flashy flash of 75ppm. Tested again with a diluted sample by 50%, 5ml of saltwater, 5ml of rodi. Test came back with 67.6! So double that since I diluted, so 135.2????!!!!!
