True about business, people have been upside down nearly every day from just black ice. But this little bits of snow here and there just make a mess at this low elevation.

The fact that you have to plug your truck in at night indicates that's way too cold for me.

We have plugs on all the vehicles but don't use until it's closer to 0F, or I'll pop it on an hour before taking off if it's under freezing. In Anchorage, many places (state offices, etc), have plugs in the parking lots like parking meters at each spot, everyone can plug in for the day while at work

Now that I don't have to stay overnight at the hospital / facility, I'm hoping for some snow days with the dogs this year, too. With El Nino, the chances are high.

Especially in your neck of the woods. I lived about an hour and a half north of you for many years. El Niño was the best. I live in Illinois now. El Niño can be good to us on occasion but we’ll see.

Yeah, we don't get a lot here, but when we do, we GET A LOT. lol. As the Executive Director, I always had to be there to ensure continuity of operations. So whenever big storms were coming, I had to pack a suitcase and live in my office. I'm not saying that there was always a bottle of scotch in there, but there was always a bottle of scotch in there.
