Not true killer bees but like a labadoodle.
Close enough.
Yeah I think there may a couple different things that could be going on. That's why I am going to go back in a week or so and get into that hive again.

Last night I took some nori, shredded as best I could without using a blender/food processor, and Dory ate like crazy. Just not the nori. I’m going to get the blender out today however. Once I buy some peas and fresh broccoli I’ll purée it and hopefully it’ll get her eating nori. Eventually I can add in more nori and decrease the other veggies (to a point anyway). I hope that once she’s reliably eating the puréed veggies she’ll recognize nori on a clip as food.

I took some more pictures last night.

Everything is officially done aquascape wise in this image of the bommie.

Here’s a closer look at everything to the right of the bommie. About 90% of this has to be done still.

Of course I need to take the pump into account once it’s time to aquascape the right side as you can see. I had to weigh the pump down with rock and make a way to divert the flow away from the corals. Once I finish the right hand bommie I’ll have the corals on the right hand side higher up except for the zoanthids which will end up farther to the left and thus farther away from the pump. What I need to figure out is how I’ll weigh down the pump and make it so the pump can be easily removed. Of course I’ll need to put the pump back into service as a return pump once I get the sump plumbed. I’d like to do so without having to tear a bunch of rock work apart to get to it. I have something in mind but we’ll see how well it’ll work.

I’ve taken pictures of the corals and the nems which are out although they wouldn’t eat tonight. They look pretty good though as do all the corals thankfully.

The above rainbow BTA isn’t gaping. I took the image from an angle that makes it look white in the center.

The zoas are closing for the night in the image below.

Every now and then the chaeto gets loose from its normal place and gets sucked in by the wave maker. It caught a bunch of debris like it usually does so I took a plastic bag like one gets from Walmart to put groceries in and wrapped it around the chaeto, then I gently pulled the chaeto, bag, and about a gallon of water out. I’m glad I did that because there was a ton of debris that’s no longer in the system. I forgot that I blew the crud off the rocks earlier in the week while aquascaping the left side of the DT so that might have triggered the mini cycle. I made 4 gallons of RO/DI because I needed 3 gallons of water to top off the tank and I needed one gallon of saltwater to make up for the gallon of saltwater I took out.

There were some amphipods of different sizes that came out of the chaeto when I rinsed it (in tank water of course). I put the pods back into the system. I’m glad they’re doing well because I need them.

I hope you’re doing better Frank. Once you get out of the hospital please take it easy. I’ve had my heart stop on me twice. The last time it happened I was in the hospital with a hypertensive emergency. I got a pacemaker. I also got read the riot act about my weight at the time. I’ve lost about 90 lbs since then. I’m still losing weight but I have another 50 or so pounds to go. I’m not sure what happened to you but as someone who’s had heart issues please, please take care of yourself and listen to what the doctors tell you. We’d all like you to stick around a while.

Good morning. Frank I hope you’re feeling better today.

Good morning to everyone else too :p

GL on the surgery @N1tew0lf1212

Last day of the week for me, watching a two year old is exhausting when you’re in your 40s and of poor health lol. No meter here so this weekend I’ll try to fight my way to the building out back. Just pray that I don’t get eaten by the stray cats, possums, squirrels and coons out there. There’s a Queen that bunks up to have her kittens in there and I swear every time she bolts out it scares the s$@: outta me. Bless her and her little stray heart. My heart too cause omg it’s going to kill me one day. I just know it.

I dont really have any updates on Frank this morning other than he is still in the hospital and they are running more tests. Been in contact with his wife during all of this, so I'm just trying to be patient and hope for the best.
