I left the frames out over night. Went out at 6am an they were still a few spicy ones on them. Stung 3 more times on the hand. But we will be spinning more linden tonight. That stuff is worth it. If they are this spicy that means we are well into dearth and they will do anything to protect their stores. Hoping for a good goldenrod season in a week or so. I already smelled some in one hive. Funny I have 3 hives now, one is chill and calm avg production, one is mild aggression with a ton of production, and the last one is one I hope doesn't make it through winter. Nasty girls. Lazy and mean.

I was thinking of requeening. This was a dirty split from spring so I was rolling the dice with it. It may be too late to requeen since we only have a few months left. So I will let them ride it out and if they make it requeen in the spring. These are scary aggressive and first thought was to soap the hive completely. Gonna see how they are in a week or two and make a decision then. The sting feels different from them as well. Seems more intense then others I have gotten.

My hubs likes to get stung in the ear also, and another favorite spot is inside the mouth. He hauls scrap cars occasionally and also operates machinery and both those seem to be hotspots for bee/wasp activity. I remember one time he ran over a ground nest of wasps when he was road building with a dozer. Good times.

Wasps and hornets are the spawn of satan.

I already done der did dat (southern accent) hahaha i think the wife is more nervous then i am.....but i did plan ahead....got chips, hohos, burritos, rice crispys, cereal, fruit snacks, taquitos, fruit gushers, a bottle of oxycontin and some soda energy drinks and juice......about to get lit lol hahaha
