Mine has done that when it's created a little channel through it. Usually if I just hit it really hard to settle it back in, it's fine.

Violence is always the answer, turns out
you mean a channel through the DI resin?

hey! it just needs to run through alittle.
let it run for like 5 minutes then look.

do you use color changing resin? when you put it in the container do you pack it in?
You dont have to worry so much about channeling in DI Resin because the particle size is relatively the same and you're not pushing detritus through it to clog it up.

Don't worry about cleaning the probes, they don't get dirty there. maybe just make sure they're pushed all the way into the T-fitting they're mounted in. And make sure theyre in the right sides.

Yeah, as soon as water started flowing through a tiny channel was created. Has happened a couple times when I did not in fact pack it as well as I thought but hitting it usually helped.

And yes, that was after about 10min of running the first time.

Here is my meter. I just looked at the probes they don’t look like they need cleaned at all. The unit is maybe a year old, if that.
Sorry but is all the tubing connected correctly? Sounds like there's a skip on the loop or a missed filter somewhere.

Ive run about 13 gallon sand it is still reading 2 in and 2 out.
I did not get color changing DI resin because I didn’t pay attention when I purchased.
I did pack it.
Probes are pushed all the way in and on the correct sides

Should be.. I haven’t changed anything on it for the last year
is it a new RODI? maybe might be a dud... those are after all cheep consumer electronics.
If BRS, engage them?
its about a year old. I can try reaching out to them but I haven’t had an awesome experience with their guidance in the past.

Yes, the resin looks wet from the bottom to about half way up.
IMG_5952.jpeg

You can kind of see it in the picture towards the bottom
its reading 1 there, not 2

It wasn’t on in the picture. I turned it back on after the picture and waited a while after I checked the probes and it went back to reading 2 in 2 out

Edit to add. The water wasn’t on when I took the picture… not the TDS meter. I was just showing what kind it was.

I think we all have done stuff like that at some point. Some more things then others.
