Need some advice: TDS meter on Rodi started registering 1 the other night so I replaced the DI resin last night. Felt like I did a good job packing it like always. Ran it for about 3 gallons and then dumped it out. This morning while making water, the tds meter still reads 2. What is odd is it reads 2 both IN and OUT. I know nothing about these units. It’s an BRS unit. Anyone have any insight or advice. Thanks!

Check the calibration on the TDS meter? May need to clean the probes.

The probes? Probably soak in vinegar and rinse with RODI. To calibrate? Nope. It depends on the meter but you'll need a couple of knowns to calibrate it to.

Do you have the instructions that came with the unit? My guess is there's a manufacturers recommended gallons or time period between calibrations. I'm not entirely sure. Frank, how often do you check the calibration on yours?

I don't , have 4 for redundancy

2 TDS isn’t that bad if that’s even what it is. Right?

Wondering that as well... 2 years in no calibration lol. Mostly swap when the media browns.

2 TDS isn’t that bad if that’s even what it is. Right?

If it's 2, that's not bad at all. Especially since most meters have a +/- accuracy window around 2 or 3.

Mine has done that when it's created a little channel through it. Usually if I just hit it really hard to settle it back in, it's fine.
