That’s what I thought and I dipped it before putting it in the tank , but nothing came off of it , I just thought it was a pigment of some sort

I’m gonna give it a few days but it was doing just fine before the water change , it was 5 gallon water change. I do it every 3 weeks. Maybe I did too much ? Hopefully this dip worked out
