We have both. And a well. Kinetico system.

Kinda like water for a fish tank take out what you want.

We have a filter sediment on house. Softener. And a drinking 5 stage for the kitchen.

I just did my house. its in my build page. Wish I added water softener... this is with the RODI setup... I added a booster pump and I just got the water saver to add on the top.

Yeah we're going to be on well, we did test the water from it and there's enough iron and various other things in it we want it filtered either way. Plus all the water here is so hard.

Terrible thing about well water is for our purposes, we add stuff we don't want to take out stuff we don't want, then take out the stuff we added to take out the bad stuff.

On our well? Nothing. The house isn't even done yet, we're just starting research now.

Our last house was city water that was very well filtered before it got to the houses. And our in-laws where we are now is city water with a softener.
