So what exactly is an aquabus cable? I've read that it's NOT a USB cable so apex says don't use USB right?

I just got my first piece of apex equipment, an eb8, it came with an aquabus cable. My first one I've gotten to see, but it looks exactly like a USB cable. Is there a way to tell the difference? I did buy it used, so no package. Should I order a new aquabus cable just to be sure?

So no major nem movement overnight, but it moved just far enough away from the Kenya I think for it to be safe.

Going to buy sponge for a nem cannon today. Probably should just have this on hand for when I need to move it again. I'm sure it'll plant itself on the Duncan too, since that one's actually glued down.

Not busting your chops just giving my experience. I rebuild a machine Cam Tech (from Canada) a few years ago that was a chain and cable drive. I used a Gecko controller, NEMA 28 motors, and Mach 3 software. Due to the poorly designed chain and cable system It was never good enough. I scrapped it and built two Avid CNC kits that are way better. Look up Avid they are made in Washington State and I love them! I bought the PRO models. I still have the Gecko controller, motors, cables, and related that are about three years old if you want to build your own bigger machine. Still have the cross beams and 48" gantry from the Avid CNC I upgraded to a 5' x 10' last summer. The Gecko is fine for most purposes and worked great. It was just the old drive system that was seriously bad design in the Cam Tech.

I still have the Gecko controller, motors, cables, and related that are about three years old if you want to build your own bigger machine.

Have not looked into any of this but I am definitely interested in your used equipment. The gantries probably more to ship then to replace but the motors are another thing.
I'll have to get NEMA 24s to go much bigger I think so your setup may jump-start me.
It'll take me a bit to come up with an educated offer but will PM you when I have an idea.

Keep an eye on those other heads. I've never dealt with BJD but that's sure what it looks like. Maybe KFC (Kung Fu Coral) dip if no one has better solutions? I think it's Iodine and two or three other things you can get yourself for way less.

What’s BJD exactly? I know it’s bad though and can spread quickly I think. Should I remove the head and the skeleton?
