Anyone ever thought of using one of these for salt water mixing? I have a buddy that is getting rid of the 4 that he has.....he was a covid end of the world kinda guy and bought brand new and kept only drinking water in them.
But with it being 275g kinda makes me wonder if it would mix well or not. It would hold a lot of water thats for sure

I used them for aquaponics and recently grabbed some more for a raised bed garden.

Need a pretty substantial pump to mix it, or a paddle. Maybe?

Just your standard external pump and a 'circulation loop' plumbed into it should do it.
Gates on the freshwater and saltwater inlet and outlet cover your flow pattern. You can even automate it if you're nerdy like me. The sides aren't sturdy so plumbing your return bulkhead can be... problematic... without support on the metal cage, but I don't recommend the metal cage anyways because they're cheap metal and subject to corrosion quick.

I might add I also get these free from work. I just have to flush them for days before using them because we store sodium chlorite in them.

The ones we get for Citric Acid are the ones I like to claim when possible.
