Just popping in to note my participation has been sparse over the last few months due to life busyness... I'm watching but not posting much, which works fine enough for my introverted nature anyway. I'm hoping soon to catch up again and maybe catch the R2R express this summer.

That makes sense... my cbb ate several zoas i had. Tore their guts right out. They kind of looked like aiptasia though.
i was away working and my missus couldnt get it out. Every morning there were literally colonies of high end just disappearing. Funny thing it its didnt touch scrambled eggs or magicians.

filefish not touched my lps but did munch through over 20k of zoas
Zoas are my least favorite coral I own and, coincidentally, they're the coral my aiptasia are growing in. I'm considering sumping the Zoa Rock and Filefish for a week or so to see what happens. If he decimates the aiptasia I can sell him to the next guy down the road. There's always people looking for Aiptasia Filefish around here.

If he eats the Zoas... Who knows? Trade him in at the fish store for credit?

Now that was just being a jurk! I would have thrown him in a frying pan. Maybe?
I'm softer than I act :(
All bark, no bite.

Yeah, Sharon was trying to talk me into a CBB but the ones that have been coming in have been super lethargic or covered in ich.

Im thinking of getting more acans. My cbb nips here and there. Not enough to kill them. If i can work around that, i could have a nice acan garden.

But cynarina are 100% off the list.

That's the sad part. Cbb can't go hungry for long like a lot of fish. They don't have the same body fat and very high metabolism. And the aussie butterfly is near 5x the price of the indo
