Lose the air stone…just run straight tubingneed turbulent water to keep the culture from settling.
lights…8-12 hrs is all you should need…what lights you using?
Water temp…could be a little warmer to help with growth, but it’s not a culture killer.
salinity… I mix mine at about 33 ppm (1.022-3 ish)…
Got it, it was so loud without the air stone, @Projects with Sam had the same suggestion. Lights I am using a 15w nicrew led. Maybe thats not strong enough?

I may try again eventually but frustrated with it right now.

TY for the advice and guidance, appreciate it.

phyto 2nd attempt no go

probably too cold room temp. otherwise idk what im doing wrong. think im giving up on it.

69 degrees, 1.020 salinity, using light for 16 hours, and airstone
You fill the containers up way too far. you dilute the Phyto so its easily outcompeted. Have you used F2 fertilizer?

@StatelineReefer did you ever send a picture of the 60? We can't just have nice tanks here. And I can't be the only one with an ugly one.

Some of the new acros have a lil tip burn. But we are 3 days cruising on stable parameters. Probably the longest streak since the dinos outburst.

Where are them ugly tank pics at!!!

Well everyone today i got to showcase a project i have been working on for quite some time now. It went very well had a lot of interest and some huge business oppertunities coming my way. I told you all i would show and tell after reefstock so here it goes. I have the brand new Night Howler System can keep corals for up to three days if not longer on 2 d batteries as well as has a pump that circulates the water all day. The air pump brings in outside fresh air to the system to help keep oxygen levels in good condition and the frag rack can hold up to 70 frags depending on size. There is also a stackable rack feature for the vendors on the go. This is a completely sealed system that has proved zero leaks during transport and withstood even the worlds worst parking lot. Features a power bank that runs a heater to keep temp dialed in and also a circulation pump to keep that water moving. This powerbank is also solar powered keeping a full charge whether in the car or even under blue actnic lighting as well as your average everyday interior lighting. I was featured today and interviewed for this piece of equipment and have sales already in the works. Today was a very good day getting our adventure on its feet and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. From vendors traveling with there corals to shows to the average joe this system proved itself from holding 20 frags from 1am til 6pm today and could have kept going no problem. I have 6 contacts from today ranging from 10 units all the way to a possible 200 units that ill be conducting business with very soon. So excited and just cant wait to unroll this.
