Alright so the tank is back under control I hope after a big oopsy. I was sent some alerts and turns out the skimmer overflowed into the return chamber, don‘t know how, and the tubing for the modded ato I did came loose and started spewing RO into the sump but mainly the return. Then return pump started getting clogged from idk what yet there was a whirlpool and skimmer gunk there. Cleaned the return pump plus the chamber, turns out there was a tiny rock lodged in the return right before a gasket or something. Scooped up the foam. But my gravity dropped from 1.026 to 1.020 which is where I’m super uncomfortable. Mini heart attack lol. @Projects with Sam , or anyone lol is there like a sealant I can use to secure the tube that came undone and prevent it from coming undone again?

Duct tape and zip ties will fix anything.

There are a number of different ways you can reattach the tubing. However, it would be good to see a pic of exactly what it is and how it needs to be reattached.

Plastic hose clamp?
Sometimes I just use zip strips. I do have some stainless hose clamps but they always rust

Is it possible to use a cyanoacrylate adhesive like the Gorilla Glue Super glue GEL? This is fish safe plant save and is fast acting underwater, and doesn’t fall apart. But I’ve only used it for FW so in SW would the Salt corrode it?

well the 300 is now 1 year 1 month old and I suspect that the dry rock I used is leaching PO4..Last week green hair algae started taking hold on some of the rocks. I also added 3 Kessil A 360X to the 4 Radion Gen 5 xr30 blues I have on the tank. Running Kessil at full blue 50% and Radion on LPS setting at 40%. Kessils on from 9 to 9 and Radions on from now noon to 6 for last few months. I just unplugged the Radions to cut white light to see if green and now some red algae dies. I am thinking of removing 2 Radions and running the 300 with 3 kessils and 2 Radions. Since I am running the Radions at 40% since anything more is too bright. I have lots of snails and two lettuce nudi's. Going to add a bio ball reactor very soon to help. Anyone have ideas? input? While I have my coffee...The 2 Radions if I remove them will be used for the frag tank I am going to make from cutting my old 140 (72x20x22) in half and making two frag tanks by adding a acylic to the top of one half ,which will then be the new bottom....

Hey Petcrazyson....can you post a pic of the issue you want to fix so I can look at it and try and offer you suggestions? I already have a idea but not sure if it is a solution that will work..
